Elementor is the leading website building platform in WordPress, serving over 5 million websites worldwide. Their product has a strong impact in the web design industry which makes it a fascinating place to work. As part of the product marketing department, my role requires the creation of websites and visuals that showcase the company’s upcoming product features. The key request is to create designs that inspire people, engage the audience, and result in customer conversion.

Design is determined by data and research. I begin a project by reviewing and testing a new product’s features, following with a research of the market trends and the customer requests. Once all this information is in place, I perform data analysis which determines the direction of the personas I need to create and the design approach I need to take.
Design Process
BoldModernInteractiveTrend and Design forecast is most important when it comes to presenting new features. Every project has it’s own mood-board filled with design ideas and research made through the previous process that helps forecast the design trends. Different use cases are applied in the most suitable designs, to highlight product use, promote ease of access and inspire the users. Once the templates are completed and user testing has been performed, project assets are optimised and exported for development use.
Project Development
This is where the designs come to life. The development of a website starts in WordPress using Elementor. The beta version is usually custom coded where I test and apply the product features to the website. The second phase is a clean re-build from any excess code and optimised for web and marketing use.
Responsive Design
Most of the websites I created in Elementor are supported to display on different devices and browsers. Even the most complicated designs are made responsive and successfully adjustable to different screen sizes.
